If you're reading this blog, then you are probably considering my tax preparation services. In six simple steps, I outline how we will work together.

  1. Visit Website. Visiting my website is the best way to read about the services I offer and my pricing. Go to the "What I Do" page to view my services, pricing, and FAQ’s.

  2. Obtain Quote. Since each tax situation is different, pricing for tax preparation is shown at a starting price. For an exact quote, please visit the contact page on my website. If you are an entrepreneur, then it may be easier to schedule a 30 minute new client consultation by clicking any of the “Work With Me” buttons on my website. During the call, we will discuss the exact details of your tax situation. I prefer this route with small business owners since there more unique situations to consider. However, if you prefer to discuss through email, then I’m happy to hash out the details that way as well.

  3. Begin On-boarding. If we are a good fit, then we’ll begin the on-boarding process which includes the following steps:

    1. Sign client agreement through Docusign.

    2. Pay Quickbooks invoice.

    3. Once the client agreement is signed and the invoice is paid, then you’ll gain access to the ProConnect online secure portal where you will upload your tax related documents and information.

    4. We will agree on a target date for uploading all documents and for filing the return with the IRS.

  4. Start Return. After all requested documents are uploaded onto the secure portal and all questions are answered, then I will begin working on your return.

  5. Review Return. I will send you a list of final questions to ensure I decrease your tax liability as much as possible. I’ll also send a watermarked return for your review. This is the time to ask questions about your return. After all questions are addressed and the return is reviewed, then you’ll electronically sign the 8879 form which gives me gives me access to e-file the return on your behalf.

  6. File Return. I file the return with the IRS! Signed, Sealed, Delivered - You’re Done!

Easy, right? This efficient and organized process makes tax season a breeze for my clients. If you have any questions or comments, then click any of the social links found in the footer below or simply leave a comment or question on this blog. Looking forward to hearing from you!
